Kindergarten Orientation/Family Visits
Kindergarten teachers will be contacting parents to set a time for a visit at Sandia Base Elementary. Parents will be called for visits after August 8th. Visits will be scheduled on August 12th, and 13th. First day of class for Kindergarten students will be on August 14th.

New Student Registration Dates
Registration for new students to Sandia Base will be on Thursday, August 7th and Friday August 8th in the school Cafeteria from 9:00AM until 4:00PM.
You will need to provide the following paperwork to register your child:
- current shot records
- birth certificate
- proof of residence (phone bill/cable bill/military housing orders
- transfers (please let us know if you have applied for one)
To get on base for registration purposes, you will need to have current vehicle registration, a valid driver’s license, and proof of car insurance.

Adobe Acrobat Reader document of supply lists by grade level.

Open House Parent Night August 27th
Meet the Sandia Base staff and PTA. Learn more about your child's classroom program. The evening will begin at 5:30PM and finish at 7:00PM. All parents are invited.

Volunteer Crossing Guard Needed
Sandia Base Elementary needs several volunteer crosswalk guards to work on a rotating schedule. This is a volunteer position and APD will train you. If you are interested please contact Sandia Base Elementary School at 268-4356.
